TERMS & CONDITIONS OF STAY
- DEFINITIONS
“Hotel”: Mercure Melbourne St Kilda Road & Naima Hotel
“Guest”: Individuals staying at the Hotel under a single booking, including Invitees.
“Invitee”: A person invited by the Guest and for whom the Guest is responsible.
“Apartment”: The room or apartment assigned to the Guest for their stay.
“Booking”: A reservation made for the Guest to stay in one or more apartments.
“Hotel Car Park”: the car park managed by Mercure Melbourne St Kilda Road. - IDENTIFICATION & CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS
Upon check-in the Guest must provide:- (i) A valid government-issued photo ID; &
(ii) A credit card in the name of the ID holder for pre-authorisation and payment purposes.

- SECURITY DEPOSIT
- (i) A $100.00 AUD bond will be placed on the Guest’s credit card as a security deposit;
(ii) The deposit will be refunded after check-out if no incidental expenses occur during the stay; &
(iii) The Guest authorizes the Hotel to charge any additional expenses exceeding the deposit.

- CAR PARK
Guests using the carpark must:- (i) provide their vehicle registration number;
(ii) notify the Hotel of any changes to their vehicle or number plate;
(iii) remove their vehicle if requested by the Hotel;
(iv) pay for any damages caused in the car park; &
(v) understood that no refunds are given if they choose not to use the car park.

- GUEST & INVITEE CONDUCT
Guests and invitees must:- (i) Behave in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of others;
(ii) Follow the complex’s by-laws and the Manager’s directions; &
(iii) Not use the apartment for any unlawful purposes.

- HOTEL LIABILITY
- (i) The Hotel is not liable for any loss, damage, or destruction of Guests’ or Invitees’ personal property.

- GYM USAGE
- (i) Guests are responsible for using the gym and its equipment;
(ii) No Invitees or individuals under 16 are allowed in the gym; &
(iii) Guests aged 16-17 must be accompanied by an adult.

- SMOKING POLICY
- (i) Smoking is only allowed on apartment balconies with the door closed; &
(ii) Evidence of smoking elsewhere may result in extra cleaning charges and eviction.

- FIRE ALARM
- (i) Guests or Invitees who trigger a false fire alarm are liable for any associated fees.
